RED WINGS 4, MILLIONAIRES 5 (OT)

Felix Beauchemin scored the game winner at the 2:55 mark of overtime to lead the Melville Millionaires to a 5-4 win over the Weyburn Red Wings in their preseason opener. 

Jake Briltz, Cohen Swan, Colten Sell and Ryan Larsen also scored for Mils, while Ethan Rau (12 of 14 shots) & Brendan Smith (9 of 11 shots) split goaltending duties. 

Brad Banach scored twice for Weyburn while Liam Fitzgerald and Zach Vaillancourt chipped in with singles.

WOLVERINES 2, TERRIERS 3

Dylan Ruptash scored twice to the lead the Yorkton Terriers to a 3-2 win on Wednesday night over the MJHL’s Waywayseecappo Wolverines. 

Aiden Knutson also scored for the Terriers, while Caleb Allen made 27 saves on 29 shots in the win. 

Sean Williams and Owen Wheatley replied for the Wolverines while starter Marek Andres made 49 saves in the loss.
