Canadian dog dude Mitchell Rudy made history by walking 38 leashed dogs in one go this weekend, breaking the Guinness World Record for the most dogs walked simultaneously by an individual. The record-breaking walk spanned 1 kilometer.

The previous record, set in Goesan, South Korea, involved 36 dogs. But Rudy was determined to raise the bar—not just for the sake of the record, but to bring attention to a cause close to his heart. The dogs involved in Rudy’s attempt were from Korean K9 Rescue shelter! “We wanted to do something that would make these dogs the champions that they are. These are good dogs, they deserve homes,” Rudy said.

I’ll be honest, I tried to find out where exactly in Canada Mitchell was from and was entirely unsuccessful. Just like I would have been trying to walk 38 dogs at once. Not nearly patient enough for either jobs.

Either way, here’s the video of his record breaking walk! So many fuzzy pups!!!!
