German police shut down a pizzeria in Düsseldorf that was offering a “special” side with its number 40 pizza—cocaine! Apparently, it was a top seller, and now we know why.

Criminal director Michael Graf von Moltke quipped that police were tipped off by suspicious food inspectors. After some sleuthing, they discovered the secret ingredient behind the menu’s popularity. When they raided the pizzeria manager’s apartment, the guy panicked and tossed a bag of drugs right into the hands of waiting officers—talk about fast delivery!

Along with 1.6 kilos of cocaine, cannabis, and a hefty stack of cash, the police didn’t get a price tag on this “gourmet” order. Despite his arrest, the pizza man reopened shop, thinking he could keep slinging his special. But after a few weeks, police took down the whole operation with 150 officers, busting the drug ring and arresting several suspects, including the 22-year-old “Don of Dough.” Guess number 40 is off the menu for good!
