Fall is prime time for eating… a lot. Between Thanksgiving leftovers, holiday parties, and the ahem bag of Halloween candy, we’re all feeling a little extra. But now, health influencers are chiming in with an unexpected suggestion to help keep our bodies in check: sauerkraut.

Apparently, sauerkraut is good for digestion, immune health, and even weight management. And sure, maybe it does work (I’m no doctor), but sauerkraut right after inhaling a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? Yeah… I’d rather just admit defeat and join the gym rush in January.

So, sauerkraut fans, I salute you. As for the rest of us? Bring on the candy—our health plans can wait till the new year.
