The Swan Valley Stampeders suffered their second straight defeat on Friday night, 8-2 at the hands of the Steinbach Pistons.

Brody Green led the way for Steinbach with 2G 2A while Mathis Laplante also scored twice while Sam Noad, Reece Gault, Brayden Berg and Coke Cairns chipped in with singles.

Aidan Taylor and Jake Giacobbo replied for the Stamps who got 34 saves from Elias Giaccarri-Dimitriou in the loss.

Christian Green stopped 17 shots in the win.

The Stampeders go right back at it on Saturday hosting the Niverville Nightbawks while Pistons visit the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
