The Melville Millionaires will head into their holiday break on a two game winning streak after a 3-1 road win on Wednesday night over the Notre Dame Hounds.

The two teams exchanged goals by Bexson Fox (ND) and Edward Knittig (MLV) in the first just 18 seconds apart to have it deadlocked after one period.

The Mils got the game winner from Simon Parin in the second as re-directed a centering feed from Brendan Olson past Hounds goalie Spencer Borsos for his 11th to give the visitors a one goal lead after 40 minutes.

William Forsberg added some insurance for Melville in the third with a short-handed goal, his first as a Millionaire.

Millionaires netminder Ben Laurette captured his second straight turning aside 28 of 29 Hounds shots to improve to 2 and 0 on the season.

Melville will return to action December 30th in Yorkton, while Hounds wrap up their pre-Christmas break schedule on the road against the Terriers on Friday night starting at 7:00 PM inside the Westland Insurance Arena.
