The Yorkton Terriers announced their first player signing ahead of the 2025/26 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season.

The Terriers announced the signing of local defenceman Mikale Budz.

The Yorkton product had three goals, 23 assists for 26 points in 43 games this past season with the Saskatoon Blazers of the Saskatchewan Male Under-18 AAA Hockey League.

In 2023/24, Budz suited up with the Yorkton Kinsmen Maulers (SMU18AAAHL) where he compiled 24 points in 40 games.
